About the Role
As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting our production and inventory management processes. Your primary responsibilities include generating ID labels for assemblies, distributing parts and tools to production staff, assembling “bag and attach” kits, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also assist with stocking materials, performing cycle counts, and ensuring a clean and organized inventory department. This role is critical to ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

You excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are proficient in basic computer operations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Print all IDs for assemblies, bag and attach, and bulk shipments
- Pull and issue parts and/or tools to production employees, as needed
- Build “bag and attach” kits
- Stock received material, filling shortages if necessary
- Process location changes
- Record all transactions for traceability
- Perform cycle counts
- Close job operations for material issuance, as needed
- Keep inventory department neat and organized
- Remit Kanban cards to Purchasing department
- Perform all duties in accordance with Vermillion Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer operation skills
- Ability to perform repetitious or tedious tasks
- Good organization skills.
- This position requires the employee to have clear vision at 20 inches or less (with or without the use of personal corrective eyewear or a company-provided magnifying glass) in addition to color vision in order to identify and distinguish colors
