About the Role
The Shipping & Receiving Technician ensures that all outgoing shipments meet customer quality and delivery requirements while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the shipping and receiving processes. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, scheduling inspections, interfacing with customer portals, and maintaining meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards. The position also includes receiving materials, recording transactions for traceability, performing cycle counts, and supporting inventory management processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures outgoing shipments meet all customer requirements, including product, shipping, and documentation
- Ensures products in the shipping area are shipped according to customer delivery date requirements
- Schedules and interfaces with customer and government source inspectors, as applicable
- Interfaces with various customer portals to schedule and/or record shipments
- Interfaces with transportation providers, on the customer’s and company’s behalf
- Ability to analyze and resolve customer purchase order or documentation issues
- Earn and maintain receiving stamps and become a backup for that role
- Inspect and receive all shipments, including parts, wire, cables, etc.
- Enter parts/supplies received into SyteLine and maintain receiving records
- Occasional local pickup and delivery may be required
- Record all transactions for traceability
- Perform cycle counts
- Remit Kanban cards to Purchasing department
- Perform transfers for CFM materials
- Process MRR’s and move materials to MRB
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Shipping/receiving experience strongly preferred
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and MS Office Applications
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
- Have clear vision at 20 inches or less (with or without the use of personal corrective eyewear or a company-provided magnifying glass) in addition to color vision to identify and distinguish colors.
